LIEFIE LINT is one of the leading “hand-made” manufacturers of hair accessories for school girls in South Africa and has been in business since 2010.

It all began with my own girls wanting ribbons & bows when they started school. I quickly realised that the options for hair accessories for school girls were very limited as the schools had very strict rules around students in school uniform. We worked with our school to develop a product, in the school colours, that looked great, keeps hair under control in a pony and still looks neat with the school uniform. And so the LIEFIE LINT Hair Tie was born.

As the business grew, we decided to invest back into our community and especially our retired elderly ladies. These ladies have years of experience in needle and sewing machine work and are quite often also in need of an extra income, on their pension. We are proud to say that all our custom products are hand-made by people in our community.
